Listen to the story below and have a think about how you can arrange 10 black dots in different ways. Use the ten frame template below. Talk with your grown ups about what you can make, with different numbers of black dots and have a go! I would love to see what you make, on Tapestry.

Good morning everyone!
Today is Safer Internet Day!
I have attached an information guide, parents and carers, for you to have a read through and maybe talk with your child about being safe online. Please could you talk with your child about the internet and sites that they access, what they like about them and why it is important that they feel safe when working online and share this information with me via Tapestry.
I would also like to see some pictures of how your children access technology around the home, for example, using the television remote control, phone/tablet, taking photographs, using programmable toys etc.
Topic
One of the symbols for 'Love' is a heart shape . Today I would like you to explore painting, drawing and making hearts, of all different shapes and sizes, with different patterns. We are going to do some painting in the style of an artist called Wassily Kandinsky and explore how to make different shades (tints) of pink, by mixing red and white paint together.
Look at the images below and then use the resources to create your own 'heartwork' today!
Have fun!

It's another snowy day today, Nursery boys and girls!
Your first job of the day is to get dressed into a waterproof suit, wellies, hats and gloves and go outside to play, in the soft, deep, snow!
If you can, build a snow person, make snow angel, draw a heart shape or any sounds we have learnt in the snow!
I would love to see some pictures and videos on Tapestry!
Maths
Can you count out 10 items to put onto your snow person? For example, 2 eyes, 1 nose, a scarf, 2 arms and 4 buttons? I would love to see some pictures of you building and counting. Have a look at the Winter Maths challenges for some outdoor ideas of things to look for and count.
