Timetable of Co-ordinated Primary School Admissions Scheme

• 9th September 2021 - Application Process begins for 2022/23
• 14th January 2022 - Closing date for all applications to be received by the Local Authority
• 3rd February 2022 - Details of preferences to be sent to Trust, VA, Academies and other Local Authorities where preferences stated are for schools other than the home LA.
• 25th February 2022 - The admission authority for each Trust, VA and Academy School will provide the LA with a list in rank order in accordance with their admission criteria of all pupils who applied for a place at the school.
• 7th March 2022 - The LA will exchange responses to preferences with other LAs.
• 25th March 2022 - The LA will inform all North Tyneside schools of children to offered places at their schools.
• 16th April 2022 - National Offer Day for places
• 2nd May 2022 - Last date for parents to accept or refuse the offer that has been made.  Last date for parents to request in writing that they want to place their child's name on the waiting list for any schools which they have applied for and been refused.
• 6th May 2022 - The LA reallocates any places that have become available since offer day.
• June/July 2022 - Appeals to be heard
• 31st December 2022: No waiting lists held by LA after today.
   

Consultation

Every few years, Governors consult on our admissions policy and arrangements.

The last consultation was completed on 31st January 2019 and Governors then considered all feedback before publishing the latest arrangements.
