Thursday 25th June
I hope you are enjoying Troll Hunter story. In school, in Class 1 we have read Chapter 3 Episode 1, 2 and 3. If you haven't read or listened to it yet, please do. The website is www.explore-more.org. If you are reading it with a grown up, you might want to hold their hand as they might be a little bit scared and need you to look after them.
Let us know if you have completed any of the activities.
Class 1 tried to find signs of a troll around school today. The children were trying to find out how big a troll might be. They drew around their hand and foot and measured how long it was. Then they compared it to a troll footprint they found at school.
You could try this at home. Draw around your hand or foot then you could use a ruler to measure them. Or use paper clips, pennies or counters. Perhaps you could have a look for some clues near where you live and think about how big a troll's hand or foot may be compared to you.

Let's continue the Troll Hunter story.
The adventurers went down into the cave and deep underground. They found a cave painting. Read the story to find out more.
Try and make your own cave painting. You could use a stick instead of a brush because the troll would not have had a brush. Or use sandpaper instead of paper to make it feel like you are drawing on a wall. Collect stones, like you might find in a cave and draw on them using charcoal or chalk.
Here are some cave models that Class 1 made in school today.
