SCHOOL UNIFORM
School Uniform is compulsory at St. Bart's, reinforcing our ethos and developing a real sense of community as our children take pride in our small school.
Uniform is best
ordered online but is also available from our school office using the correct order form.
SCHOOL LUNCHES
School meals are freshly cooked on the premises each day and are available for children from Reception to Year 6. Meals meet rigorous school food guidelines and nutritional standards set out by the Government. They are carefully planned and prepared and children can enjoy a choice of a hot main course accompanied by fresh vegetables, a healthy drink and a dessert. A vegetarian option is prepared each day. Sandwiches, jacket potatoes and a salad bar are also available daily. Drinking water is available to all children, whether staying for school meals or packed lunches. Payment should be made directly using your "Appetite" account (contact our school office if you require details or ring the Appetite team on 0191 249 7899) If you've forgotten your password,

Free School Meals
All children from Reception to Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. Parents who receive income support or certain other financial benefits, or have a low annual household income, may also be entitled to free school meals. This is always arranged sensitively, with no stigma.
Applications for free meals are managed by North Tyneside Council (Tel: 0191 643 8355).
Packed Lunches
If you wish, children may bring a packed lunch. Lunches should be packed in unbreakable, leak-proof containers and drinks should not be brought in glass bottles. Fizzy drinks and sweets are not allowed. Parents are encouraged to pack a healthy lunch box.
